About this tool

This video frame grabber lets you capture any exact frame from a video as an image. Scrub to the moment you want and click to save the current picture — perfect for cover images, stills and great moments. You can also batch-extract frames at a set interval to get many images at once.

Saved images can be PNG (lossless) or JPG, and everything is processed locally in your browser — the video is never uploaded.

How to use

  2. Use the player to scrub to the frame you want.

FAQ

How sharp are the captured images?

Images are exported at the video’s native resolution, so sharpness matches the source. PNG is lossless; JPG is smaller.

Is batch extraction slow?

It depends on length and interval. Smaller intervals and longer videos produce more frames and take longer; set an interval that fits your need.

Is the video uploaded?

No. Frame grabbing happens locally; the video is not sent to any server.
