About this tool

A random picker bundles the common "let chance decide" tools: generate a random number in a range, pick or call a random name from a list, roll dice, and spin a wheel of fortune. Whether you are running a raffle, splitting into groups, shuffling an order, or just want a fair way to decide, it gives an unbiased random result.

The randomness is based on the browser’s secure random source, so results are unpredictable and cannot be rigged — which makes raffles and name calls feel fair. Everything runs locally in your browser; lists and other inputs are never uploaded.

How to use

  1. Choose a mode: random number / name draw / dice / wheel.
  2. For random numbers, set the minimum, maximum and count (and whether to allow repeats).
  3. For draws or the wheel, paste your candidates or options, one per line.
  4. Click draw or spin to get a result, and repeat for as many rounds as you like.

When to use it

  • Pick winners fairly in a year-end party or livestream raffle.
  • Randomly call on people or form groups in class or meetings.
  • Use the wheel or dice at gatherings to decide what to eat or who pays.
  • Get a random order or number for games and activities.

FAQ

Are the draws genuinely fair and random?

Yes. The tool uses the browser’s cryptographically secure random source, so every candidate has an equal chance and the outcome cannot be predicted or rigged — suitable for raffles and name calls that need to be fair.

Can it guarantee no repeats?

Yes. The random-number mode has a "no repeats" option so the drawn numbers are unique, and name draws can remove a winner after they are picked — handy for drawing a multi-prize list one by one.

Does it handle long lists? Is the content saved?

It handles fairly long lists — just paste them one per line. All processing happens locally in your browser, so the names and options you paste are never uploaded and are cleared when you close the page.
